Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University continues to actively participate in the international project EDUC-WIDE, an initiative that extends the capabilities of the European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) alliance of European universities.
The project aims to develop collaboration in research and innovation between the participating universities, opening up new opportunities for international interaction for researchers.
One of the key initiatives of EDUC-WIDE is the Seed Projects competition, which supports the implementation of joint research projects.
The call for applications closed on 27 January and 25 international research consortia were formed as a result of the competition, 7 of which involved teams from the Carpathian University and 3 of which involved scientists from the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
The project leaders are
– Volodymyr Lushchak – Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology;
– Volodymyr Shvadchak – Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology;
– Oleksandr Shyichuk – Department of Chemistry.
The research initiatives cover a wide range of areas: biochemistry, biotechnology, materials science, etc. The interdisciplinary approach and the involvement of a wide range of partners in joint research projects are in line with the EDUC-WIDE concept, which is based on the principles of inclusive development – “EmpoWering EDUC for Inclusive Development of the ERA”.
