In order to achieve the goals of the project 101127251 – MEOEU – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH+ “Monitoring of Environmental Objects in the Context of European Integration”, members of the Faculty of Chemistry, Prof. Kurta S.A., Assoc. Prof. Hatsevych O.M., Assoc, Assoc. Prof. Hatsevych O.M. and Assoc. Prof. Fedorchenko S.V., made a working visit to POLITECHNIKA RZESZOWSKA, named after Ignacy Łukasiewicz, from 14 to 16 October. During the visit, they visited the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, which provided an opportunity to familiarise themselves with modern European methods of environmental monitoring, which are studied in relevant courses and applied in scientific research in this field. Professor Kurta S.A. gave a lecture to the students of the Faculty of Chemistry in which he presented the results of air quality monitoring in the Carpathian region, focusing on the transboundary transport of pollutants and the need for close cooperation between neighbouring countries in the field of air pollution control and prevention. It is expected that the experience gained and the prospects for cooperation with such a powerful technological university will contribute to the effective implementation of the project objectives and the development of eco-analytical and chemical research at the Faculty of Chemistry.
