The specialised training course “University of the Future: Secrets of successful management in education” has been completed at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
The course was designed to improve qualifications and expand professional knowledge and skills necessary for effective management and ensuring high quality of educational activities. It comprised three training sessions delivered in an offline format.
The organisers were the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU-EcoSystem”, the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Management.
The first training session was conducted by Olena Huzar, Head of the Centre for Professional Development and Leadership “Teaching Excellence” at the Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University in Ternopil. The speaker presented models of successful management in the field of business, the main principles of developing entrepreneurial competence in educational activities and activated team interaction for generating ideas, creating and presenting projects.
The topic of the second session was “Modern trends and challenges in leadership and team building”. The speaker was Valentina Yakubiv, the first vice-rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. She discussed the evolution of leadership styles, the impact of technology on communication and collaboration in teams, and the importance of emotional intelligence in modern leadership.
The theme of the third session was “Innovative trends in education: Virtual and Augmented Reality”. The speakers were Olena Budnyk, Professor and Director of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU-EcoSystem”, and Mykhailo Kotyk, Senior Lecturer and Specialist at the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU-EcoSystem”. They focused on the use of virtual and augmented reality to enhance the learning process, highlighting its potential to create an interactive and immersive educational environment and demonstrating this through VR glasses.
Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Oleksandra Abrat, Natalia Belova and Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology Maria Bailyak successfully completed the course.
